So, it's up to you. Without it, you'd simply get more puncture procs. If it still hold up without it, it's not essential. That's how I see it.
>slash proc buildAnother thing though. The other half of the slash proc build I know is proccing viral. Viral essentially doubles dmg taken. Slash DoT already ignores dmg reduction from armour so you can see how powerful even one stack of viral can be.

I dont have the latter so I have 0 experience with base dmg builds. HC should already double your slash DoT since it's a base dmg mod, and more multishot means more chances. Huh. I guess this is another way to build slash.

>tier listsI don't really watch those. I prefer the "here's a build and why/how it works" approach. If you like a weapon but it seems to underperform, sure, follow to a T. If it already does well enough for what you're doing, go nuts. Fun is meta. Comfy is meta.
I'd really like to build a nice gas weapon myself.
